Hi Dana, login to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Appearance->Customize->Additional CSS.
You can enter custom css code regardless of what theme you will be using. Copy the code below and hit publish. This will hide the disclosure that displays your address.
/* ## CTCT Disclosure
——————————————— */
.ctct-disclosure{
display:none;

Hi Scott,
I did those steps but because i have already published a customization it just reads “published” and i don’t see a place to add other text? I hope this makes sense.

Hi Dana what’s your websites URL so I can get a better understanding of the problem. Are you using Contact Form 7?

I don’t see a physical address at the bottom of your page. Do you still see it on your end?

Yes, its there on there right hand side where it tells people they ‘agree’ to marketing. I tried to send a pic but it wouldn’t let me attach it

I still don’t see it. I’m wondering if it shows up for you (the owner of the site) but is not public. Can you try sending me the pic through message because I want to make sure.

I can’t seem to send a message or add a pic… going really well!

I see the physical address. Let’s try this step again.
Login to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Appearance->Customize->Additional CSS.
You can enter custom css code regardless of what theme you will be using. Copy the code below and hit publish. This will hide the disclosure that displays your address.
/* ## CTCT Disclosure
——————————————— */
.ctct-disclosure{
display:none;
}(When copying and pasting this code, hit return on your keyboard to separate the code from another code. Let’s see if the “publish” button comes up.)

Hi,
I previously stated that i already tried this. As there is already a custom “code” there it simply tells me it has been published and there is no where else to add anything else. Admittedly I’m new to this but this is not user friendly, at all. There is no “publish” button. Only “published” shows.

Just tried again and the screen was clear and had a “publish” button, i added the code you sent! I’m not sure if it worked but it allowed me to add and publish this time so its a step forward! Going to see about the theme now, I believe it’s Hemingway

I don’t think it shows any more? Once when i logged in it was there but it doesn’t seem to be the last few times. Thank you for checking, I appreciate your help! I feel so lost with the tech, my son is going to help me with the tabs on my main page, i cant seem to get much to work!

I can walk you through the tabs if you like. Let me know if you need any extra assistance =)

Hi,
I am unhappy with the overall look of my blog and the tabs are still eluding me? I honestly find this platform so hard to use, it makes blogging so much less desirable.
Yes please, how to do i add tabs? Thanks!

I will walk you through each step. This may seem like a lot at first, however, it will make more sense in time. I’ve put number next to each step. If you get lost at any point, let me know which number you are on and we will go from there. =)
1) Log into WordPress
First Part
2) Go to your Dashboard (black vertical bar on the left side of the screen)
3) Click on Pages
4) Click on Add New (top of the screen next to the Pages)
5) Add a title (Type in About)
You can add your About Me description in the body of this page (or you can do this later)
6) Click Publish (once it says publish – go to Pages)
7) Click Add New
8) Add a title (Type in Contact)
9) Click Publish
Second Part
10) Go to your Dashboard
11) Hover your mouse over Appearance (by hovering a list will come up)
12) Click on Menus
13) “Select a menu to edit” Choose Main Menu (primary menu)
Click Select
OR
if you do not see this as an option or a similar menu as an option you can also click
create a new menu
This may be different depending on which option you choose during step 13.. not to worry I can walk you through this. (if you choose “Main Menu (Primary menu) these will be the next steps)
14) Under Add Menu Items Pages (the box on the left) Choose to add Home, About, and Contact. Do this by checking the boxes next to these.
15) Click Add to Menu
16) Under “Menu Settings” you will see “Display Location” click on the box that says Primary Menu (make sure there is a check mark in this box)
17) Click Save menu
18) Now you can check your site. At the top of the screen you will see a little house with the name of your website next to it. Hover your mouse over your site and click Visit Site.
