Hi, I’d like to create an offer on my blog which would be kind of “Here is a nice DIY project. To get it for free, please sign up first and receive it by email”. I managed to upload my pdf file into my medias, so I can share it in a post, but I cannot manage to go any further… (working with Mailchimp)

    Could you help me, please?

Do you have a form anywhere on your website? To collect email?

Please navigate to media->library and click on the file you uploaded. You can then copy the link to the file and add the link in your welcome email in MailChimp.

So when your readers signup on the form, they are sent the welcome email with a link to download the file.

      Yay!

Thanks very much for your reply. Seems so obvious but I could’t manage to get it alone.

      Have a great day!

      Hi,

      me again…

Could this be apply to a specific form or will it be linked to all subscription forms on my blog?

      The idea is:

      1) post an picture of something I created + button “Free download”

      2) when you click on that picture or on the buton, you reach a specifid subscription form (Is it a landing page??)

      3) then you subscribe, and you’ll receive the pdf file to download by email

      Thanks for your help

      Isabelle

You would definitely need additional tools to have this kind of setup. Are you trying to offer content upgrades? or multiple different lead magnets?

Well, it’s the 1st time I would do that, so I guess One single lead magnet for now.

I think In mailchimp they call this Landing Page, or is it something totally different??

          Thanks

          Hi,

I see now that this was our 16th and 17th lesson… I think I managed to process it properly.

          Thanks anyway!
