Hello , I feel so lost , Are there 2 separate payment one for blue host and a separate one for Word press? I was on blue host and have set up a blog , how can I post there ? What is the role of word press , Still learning all of this is quiet confusing ! lol help appreciated .

Bluehost is the host and you have a self hosted version of wordpress on your bluehost hosting account. You only have to pay Bluehost and the wordpress is open source.

I suspect you likely missed the setup steps.

an analogy would be, Bluehost is like a piece of land on the internet and WordPress is the software that lets you build your home(blog).
