She likes to share her story and hear from others, especially those who have a similar disability as hers so she can inspire and be inspired. Marie hopes to spread love and respect for each other’s differences to people with and without a disability.

Hi Marie, I would love to be on your email list but I don’t see a place to subscribe on your blog. (My son has vacterl association and while he doesn’t have limb defects, many others with vacterl do, so it is a topic I’m following.)

I think this is too long…

In 2020, Lydia realized her family and her home were not prepared for emergencies. The global coronavirus pandemic showed her she needed to repack her son’s hospital bag and stock up in case family members needed to be quarantined because of illness. The probable economic downturn related to the pandemic revealed her need for organization and economic security. The break in the food supply chain made her feel vulnerable. She began to prepare. Yet survivalist websites just seemed like too much…too much info, too much time, too much prepping. Her website wannabepreppers.com was born out of a desire to grow her prepping skills without going overboard. As a teacher for over 15 years, she had a desire to break down prepper information into visuals and basics, freeing her readers to prep without much fuss or time. Wannabe preppers like her digest her infographics, get prepped fast, and then get back to their daily life.

Heather is a 5th year teacher. She has been given a lot of opportunities to work with top literacy coaches and as a life long learner has attended many professional development courses. Her goal with her blog is to share her experiences and help other teachers, both new and veteran, by providing resources and advice. https://theteachermomscramble.com/where-do-i-start/

Heather has been a mom for 23 months now and what a journey it has been. From listening to the advice of others, reading articles and always wondering if this is normal. She wants to share what she goes through, talk about her baby boy, Riley and hope that I can help other moms feel okay with the choices they make as moms. It can be hard, but as I wrote here https://theteachermomscramble.com/just-do-what-is-right-for-you/, you just need to do what is best for you and know it will all be okay.

I wrote these as a way to introduce myself, if this what I send to other bloggers to get them interested and tell them a little about who I am? Maybe change them a little based on the spcific blog I might be looking at? Or what is the purpose of this??

Well, I have decided to write my blog in Spanish. So if there is a native Spanish Speaker that can read my BIO, I would greatly appreciate. Here it comes!!!!

    UPDATE!!!!!! GOOGLE TRANSLATION!!!

Hi all! My name is Luis Ramos from TodoSobreDislexia.com, born in the United States, raised in Puerto Rico and currently living in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, in the state of Texas, United States. I work as a dyslexia therapist in a local school district while pursuing a Dual Master’s Degree in Dyslexia and Educational Diagnosis.

I am the proud father of a child with dyslexia and together we have laughed and cried about the different topics that I present in this blog.

Currently I have dedicated my efforts at work to sensitizing teachers in my district who unfortunately lack tools to work with dyslexic students. My son suffered at his school until I decided to enter a training center for dyslexia therapists and also legally arm myself with information for the school to provide services and accommodations.

After a while I have proposed that what happened to my son does not happen to any other child and well, here I am as its author.

Thank you for your visit and I hope you come back soon for more information.

    Luis Ramos

“The educator is no longer just the one who educates but the one who, while educating, is educated through dialogue with the student, who, being educated, also educates.”
