Speaking is not my cup of tea but I think for my personal blogs, it would be good to use affiliate marketing for monetization on products and services relating to disability. I will do research online on how to do this and find out what companies I can use to accomplish this.

With all the other amazing things you’ve been able to accomplish, Marie, my guess is that you can make speaking your thing, too … and that you will excel with that, just as you have in so many other things other people think aren’t possible! I’d love to hear what you have to say 🙂

I am liking the affiliate marketing but I will need to do some research to make sure I chose products that will not contradict my blog.

In the meantime, I can offer services like coaching, workshops on how to get children to help, etc.

I’m blogging because I love writing and love having an outlet for it. Having said that, I think being able to attach a link to my blog in a resume would be very beneficial and I can see in maybe trying affiliate marketing in the future, too … contacting hotels and tourist shops and suggesting maybe a commission based referral idea?

That would be great Lisa! Your niche is very specific and I’m sure a lot of small businesses in small Canadian towns could really use some extra exposure. Why not look into that, maybe starting locally where you live and see people’s responses 🙂

The monetization model I’m considering most is an info product. I think it would be something similar to my lead magnet where I gave people steps and resources to help plan out their goals, find motivation etc. to lead a more active lifestyle and go on adventures. I think I would like it to be a class format, that maybe I could execute through email at first to see if people were interested. If so, maybe then I could look at getting some kind of online course platform.

This is a great plan Clarissa. People love online courses and if you have something valuable to give them, they are more than happy to pay for it. Your workbook was awesome and I’m sure you would do a great job with a course as well.

The primary reason I joined the Challenge was to combine my two favorite things: teaching and writing. My monetization plan is to add tutoring services to help students prepare for the ACT. I’ve practiced my way up to scoring in the 99th percentile on my practice tests and I understand how to explain my methods to students in a fun, relaxed way. As a veteran math teacher, I may expand my services to offer math tutoring for all levels from junior high math through college calculus. I love teaching teenagers, and I’m really excited about using my website to showcase my services. My biggest challenge will be letting the people who need me know I’m here!

I tink I will start with the affiliate marketing monetization technigue. I have ideas on ebooks or printables for the future. I’m not sure about being in a video or teaching something. I will have to have my grandchildren come and help me. They video themselves all the time doing things. I think I just came up with a plan!

I think for myself the affiliate partnership will be a good route for me to pursue. It allows me to have access to a variety of companies & their products to advertise on my site and earn $$. I am also looking at another option of adding a product store to my site and just carrying a specific line of products to sell as a distributor for a specific company.

My blog is all about one of my fictional characters, Drucilla B. Queen, and how she brings characters from other books to life and gives them a voice of their own. She also critiques (eventually) current middle grade fiction on the market. I see the blog as an opportunity: 1) to help get my own middle grade fiction published, 2) to meet middle grade fiction authors, editors and publishers and get them interested in my characters, 3) host writing contests to increase my mailing list, 4) stay up-to-date on current literature. An income may be generated by the publication and sales of my novels (I have six manuscripts complete and am working on number seven). In addition, I plan is to truly bring Drucilla B. Queen to life to host her own reading hour for children on YouTube. I will be dressed as Drucilla in a bee costume – I already have someone who can make it. As Drucilla, I will read a story or a part of one and comment on it. There will be different topics to focus on such as anti-bullying, divorce of parents, feeling different, feeling lonely, antiracism, etc. The children will be invited in different sessions to draw me a picture related to the story they had just heard, or to write me a poem or a story. The best piece will be presented in the next session and the child will be sent a certificate in honor of their good work. Money could be generate by: 1) having sponsors, 2) doing guest appearances on other blogs and shows. 3. Setting up after-schools courses with Drucilla to teach children about other things like spelling and grammar, making them come to life instead teaching them so dry and dull. So some of the kids may learn something, but whatever it is, it should be great fun!

This is such a good plan, Julie! You definitely have a very specific niche which means your opportunities are very specific but can be very profitable. Would be awesome for you to interview characters from recent authors so you can create relationships with other authors and publishers. I really think you have the talent to go through with this 🙂

Hi, I would be more encline ot go with the affiliate marketing for my blog. Find the proper website or product to promote would fit better with my blog.

However, on the mid or long-term side, I would love to create my own pattern and monetize the download of it.

My accountability partner suggested online classes but I’m too far from that as of now.

To monetize my blog Drucilla’s Corner, I am planning to make some videos for children of Drucilla B. Queen’s Story Hour. I, dressed as a bee, will read aloud from a story and then comment on the message therein and encourage the children to send me their reaction in the form of drawings, poems, an essay, their own short story or simply a letter to me. The best ones will be presented in the next story hour. When I have a decent following, I could have a sponsor, do guest blogs and interviews and do some affiliated marketing of educational products for children, i.e. games, books, programs to aid in reading better. The idea is to promote reading and writing in children of all ages. I am also hoping that the blog will help me get my own books published and marketed.

I previously wrote and self-published a book about my personal physical/emotion/faith journey, which is what my blog niche is as well. I’ve also done a few public speaking events in the past. It will eventually all come together. I’m not ready yet for monetizing, but I think when I am, these will be the two avenues that will best suit me.

I’m semi-retired, so my plan for this blog is to create passive income. I like writing – fiction or non-fiction – so it makes sense to have that as the main focus. My previous experience includes small business marketing and coaching small business owners, so that will guide my info products.

My monetization plan includes affiliate marketing and info products, and eventually my novel(s). The blog is following my novel writing journey.

I am going to try setting up Adsense now, to see how it works and evaluate if it makes sense for what I’m doing.

I am definitely starting with affiliate marketing because it fits my websites well and I already became an Amazon affiliate. I will be adding links in the next few days. I would like to do Google AdSense shortly after. Eventually I would like to freelance after I have built my own website portfolio. And eventually I might create a few digital products.

But overall affiliate marketing has been on my mind since the beginning,

You can see products I have already listed and will soon add links for at https://www.1sellerofpurple.com/water-survival-infographic-beginners-guide/
1sellerofpurple.com is how I originally started this 30 day blog challenge, but soon I will move all my content to the name wannabepreppers.com

I am also starting a website for parents to find clothing for their special needs kids, an area of life I have experienced. It isn’t ready yet but it will be at adaptiveclothingnetwork.com I will have affiliate links on that website, but many of the products I will be recommending are on little known websites that don’t have affiliate programs, so google adsense will probably make sense there. I also plan to put up ads for a CBD oil company on that website.

So I am planning on affiliate marketing, but since watching today’s video I have some new ideas. I love to help others, which is a huge purpose to my blog. So I think that offering coaching services will be a possible way for me to monetize my blog. I think it will take some time, but I need to lay out some ground work still and get a little more traffic, but I think that I would try offering my service in helping new teachers or maybe helping parents. I have done student tutoring before but maybe parent tutoring. Create some guidance in how to help at home, talk about development, appropriate learning tools at home, and for teachers maybe offer book studies we can work together. I don’t know yet, I think I will need to reach out to see what else I can do to help to figure out what would be best. It might be a google meet I do to start this??

I think I need to put fillers out there and see… look at new teachers start by providing a free service to a couple and then ask them if I offered it how much they think my cost would be??? Get some ideas

I’m talking about people who have a lot of contacts, that maybe even worked in different schools so you can reach more and more people. Think of this as an investment of your time in your business. Don’t let it go to waste 🙂

My plan for monetizing is to build up my Pinterest Users through a fantastic program called Tailwind. I’ll be providing more details about in a future post (in case anyone’s interested). I am shooting to get more than 100 users. Right now I’m getting relatively close to 100. Within just a week I’ve gone from 10 followers to 31 followers. From within the Tailwind program I can talk to other bloggers and in addition I’m going to use Facebook Groups and seek advice.

First, I will add a page to my website offering my services

Next, I will continue to participate in the discussions of the groups that accept my request to join

Then, I will look to articles or videos that discuss how to set up tutoring services online (probably set up Skype)

Last, I will offer my services on my Facebook groups and anywhere else I find out about in my research

Se siente bonito cuando uno no se siento solo verdad. Así me estoy sintiendo yo también no te preocupes al menos ya somos dos. Okay so about your post I would separate it into two post to be it seemed too long. The bottom part where you talk about the struggles can stand alone. I would also try to write it like you did your about page, try to use a friendly tone. When I read it I felt like I was at the doctor you know what I mean? Lastly I would try to make the title shorter. Sorry the list is so long I hope this helps let me know if you need any clarification.

As far as monetization…. Creating simple activities for parents and teachers alike may provide some income (do not have a plan but have already created some since I am a Dyslexia Therapist). I have also thought of affiliate marketing of learning products, assistive technology, educational apps, among others. Feedback?

Hi Luis! Well, affiliate marketing is definitely the quickest one to convert, but in such a specific niche like yours I would definitely do the activities that you mentioned, some ebooks, masterclasses. A lot of parents and kids want to overcome dyslexia and I’m sure so many people look for online options to do it.

Luis, I agree with Monica as a teacher of Spanish speaking students this is an area where I am always wishing we had a manual like they do in English. The solution for our district is always to translate the already made English guide but as you know that does not work. You already have the first hand experience it shouldn’t be very difficult for you.

From the beginning, I have wanted to create eCourses, eBooks, and other info products like this. So, I will be making those eventually! I am also not opposed to adsense and affiliate marketing at this time, so I’ll check those out as I grow. And I might get into coaching at some point, but that’s much farther down the road for me.

I’m not completely sure. I tried adsense when I first started in February but got rejected because there wasn’t enough content on the website. Although, I think it is time to try again! Below is what I think will end up being income in the future.

    • Adsense – pocket money
    • Affiliations – only if I really like the product
    • Freelance Writing Services – probably the majority of any future income (currently working on creating a “Work With Me” page)

Hi Saebyl! This plan seems really well structured. I totally understand your approach to affiliates and I would do the exact same. Never sell something you don’t believe in because it really shows. Freelance writing is a great option to consider, for sure! That is awesome, Cheryl! Please let me know whenever you do workshops and classes, would love to learn how to quilt! Why not also make some patterns or illustrated written tutorials? Like those magazines that were so popular back in the 90s. I’m sure so many people would buy those from you.

That’s amazing, Daysi! That is one of the benefits of having such a specific niche, affiliate partnerships just make that much more sense!
