“Hidden Gems – Small Town Tales”
I’m from Canada and have fallen in love with all the stories that lay hidden in our many small towns. I think my blog is going to tell a few of them and reveal some of their magic at the same time … I guess I’ll see where that goes and hope it takes me somewhere interesting!
-
395
Great title! I would most definitely read your blog!
-

Thank you! One of my “fears” in Day 2 exercises is that no one else is interested in Canadian small towns … lol … I tend to bore people with my passion for it … so I really appreciate the encouragement!
-

I for one am very interested in Canadian small towns. I grew up in the US Midwest and have been living in a small town in Germany for the last 25 years. I am curious to know how the Canadian way of life in small towns compares with these other countries and cultures.
-
395
I think you’ll be surprised at the people interested in stories about small towns. I know that I am. There is something special about small towns. AND you should never run out of content. I think it’s an awesome idea and a great first post.

Amazing Stuffed Pork Chops. I am obviously writing a food and recipe blog but will also have lifestyle and creative content as well.
-

Oh wow! That recipe is going into my collection. Looks delish!
-

That’s awesome. I too am writing about recipes, though mine will be more lifestyle. All inspired by my grandma. 🙂
-

That sounds really great. It just came to my mind that it might help to add a kind of subtitle, so that the reader doesn’t think it is only one recipe. It could be something like Amazing Stuffed Pork Chops, and other wonders of the kitchen. Or something like that. I would certainly read it.

Why Bother Going Zero Waste?
I am writing about my journey to becoming a zero waste home. I am not an activist of the cause, I don’t make my own granola and almond butter 🙂 I am just an average citizen trying my hardest to do my part. Most people roll their eyes at this topic because it seems overwhelming to achieve. I want to share my imperfect actions to achieving this goal. One imperfect step is better than no step at all.
-
495
You say the most inspirational things! I love “One imperfect step is better than no step at all”
-
410
Writing for a great cause! The more you do research, write, and share your thoughts with others, the more your imperfect steps will become closer to perfection.

Are You Eco-Friendly?
I am trying to get as many people as possible aware and educated on how to help preserve our planet. One of the many ways people can put forth effort in this is by being eco-friendly. I’d like to encourage others in my writing about this topic.
-
135
Yes! I love all of this! I can’t wait to read your blog!! Great job!!
-
8460
Such a beautiful and relevant mission, Kaitlin. We really do need to take better care of our planet. This topic definitely brings a lot of value to your blog and keeping the titles short and easy to read is a must! There are a few other eco-friendly blogs within our community so maybe why not start a forum just about the environment where you can exchange ideas and even create collaborations? Great work!
-

The title to my first blog is “Why should You go Green? I chose to write about this because I’m passionate about being kinder to Mother Nature. We only have one planet earth, and we won’t get another one. We better take care of her cause once shes had enough its gonna be devastated for all of us! I once wasn’t into this, until I started researching it, and realized trying to go zero waste isn’t impossible. Hard to do, but not impossible.
-
8460
Great job Jessica! So important to educate people on zero waste practices and how to be kinder to our planet. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

What are you made of?
I am writing about my personal healing journey, the battle for my Soul quite literally. I was deeply abused, raped and traumatized for years. Beyond the physical attacks that were done to me, the real battle was for my Soul. Would I let these events harden me as a person and allow the fear and anger I felt daily become the story of my life? No way. I chose love and healing above all else.
-
8460
Love the title Trina! So easy to identify with and will surely bring a lot of people who are also looking for healing in their lives. Takes so much courage to share and be vulnerable about what makes us ourselves! Thank you for your contribution 🙂
-

Wow Trina, I can’t wait to read your blog! I’m so amazed that you would be happy to share such a personal story. Thank you for sharing!
-

I am so sorry to hear about your traumatic experiences, but so amazed that you are sharing your journey of healing. I work in social services and there are so many people who unfortunately experience these same things and don’t know how to heal. I will definitely share your blog as a source of inspiration, healing, and comfort. Others need to know that they are not alone!

I am passionate abuse ending abuses in relationships especially among immigrants in <st1:place w:st=”on”>North America</st1:place> hence my decision to start a blog. Many spouses are being killed or end up with mental health issues because they choose to stay in abusive relationships. Below is my 1st attempt please feel free to criticize me.
Am I married?
If you were validly married outside of <st1:place w:st=”on”>North America</st1:place> your marriage remains valid after immigration. However, in this part of the world, marriage may not confer you with special benefits aside from probable reduction in your household taxes.
Many new immigrants to <st1:place w:st=”on”>North America</st1:place> view marriage as a must no matter how their spouses treat them. I ask why?
I have seen many ladies being physically and financially abused in their marriages and they say they are holding on to that marriage “because of their children”
If you are being abused, get help before you get killed or become mentally retarded. Go to a shelter or ask for protection immediately.

My blog post title is “How to Create Momentum that Gets You Results in Auditions.” The gateway to nearly any serious music program, camp, festival, collegiate degree, orchestra or more is often initiated by an application and an audition. If a person’s auditions aren’t successful, then there isn’t much point in talking about what comes after if they can’t get past the first step. I want to help people through those tough auditions – I’ve been there, and they can really test the mind and spirit!

I am thinking of kicking it off with my Title being: “Why even bother?” I want to write about being a mum in these hectic times we live in. Times have changed and mums are working just as hard to look after their families etc. I am a mum of three very busy boys, while working full time. Sometimes you cannot help to wonder why even bother, no one even notices you in the house. You find yourself tired all the time, but come with a twist.. To the little people in your house, you are more than just mama, you are their world. What do you guys think about this approach? Being a mum is a universal language and I would just like to inspire or share my crazy life and why its important to keep doing what we do. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Ta

Hi Bianca! First of all, welcome and thank you so much for sharing with us. This is a great niche since it is a reality for a lot of women around the world. The title does have a bit of a negative connotation but it is catchy! If you plan to write a piece that ends on a good note I think the title works! If it will be more about the struggles of motherhood I would suggest trying a few other options. Nevertheless, it is a great topic and I can’t wait to see how it develops.

“Simple wabi-sabi thoughts that Will help improve your life”
I want to share more about Wabi-sabi, the Japanese mindset about accepting imperfection, impermanence, and incompleteness. As life continues, we tend to want to become “perfect” even though such a thing cannot exist. Still, such a mindset really messes our minds to look down on oneself. Wabi-sabi is a great mindset to have because organic limitations and imperfections are what creates our value as humans and I wanted to talk more about it in my blog.
-
8460
Such a cool idea Yoshi! I love the Wabi-Sabi philosophy and can’t wait to read your post about it. Well done 🙂
-

This sounds incredible Yoshi! Can’t wait to read more! I am very curious about Wabi- sabi, I’ve never heard of it before, it sounds like a really great philosophy!

-
145
This sounds so cool! I would be totally interested in reading a post like this. However, because I have never heard of wabi-sabi I don’t think I would click on the post while browsing. I would suggest something like “breaking the perfectionist mindset with this simple Japanese concept” or why wabi-sabi is exactly what every recovering perfectionist needs. I think if your title is something that addresses the problem wabi-sabi solves you would get a lot of traffic!

Hi All!
My title is: Finding Voice – How to be heard.
I want to empower young people, particularly those who are normally quiet, to speak out about what they think is important. I am really passionate about this as I used to be really scared to share my views and ideas, particularly with adults, so I want to encourage and equip other young people to stand strong in what they believe and give them the confidence to raise issues that are important to them. I do get a fair bit of eye rolling, but I’m not a left wing radical wanting to overthrow the establishment ( laughy face), I just want to encourage others my own age to have a voice in society.

I spent way too much time overthinking about what to title my first blog post but then I remembered GOOD ENOUGH is the motto. So here goes!
‘5 Terrific reasons to use more natural products’
I decided to write about this because it is one of my main focuses on my blog and something that I want to look into more deeply. I personally really like using more natural products but this was just a decision I made based on the influence of people around me. With this post I want to look more into the hard facts and science behind using natural products on your body, in your food, and generally in life. I’m hoping to benefit myself as well as others with this information. Maybe it will even inspire others to change their habits of using chemical filled substances.
-

My first blog title is “Why Try?” I chose this title because more often than not I see the people around me give up. Not just give up on a simple task, but in a deeper sense, they give up on themselves. I believe the value of making the choice to try leads people on a path to believing in themselves. To discover their resilience, determination, and personal wins gives them a foundation to catapult themselves in to even more success and higher self-awareness.
Now I just have to finish writing it 🙂

I actually already posted my first post, which quickly introduced me and what my overall plans are for my site and business. In that first post I mentioned I identify as Queer. 10 Things I Dislike About Plus Size Fashion – I chose this title as I am constantly frustrated by the ongoing dilemma I face as a big girl when it comes to shopping for clothes and how difficult it is for any big girl to have style and flair in the world of fashion when the styles on offer scream “don’t stand out”, “cover the bulge”, or my absolute favourite “hell to the no if you think you could pull off sexy”. Our society has embedded subliminal ‘ugly fat girl’ messaging in every inch of our lives that continue to reinforce negative thought patterns and behaviours that keep us big girls hating who we are and what we look like. But it doesn’t stop there, those same messages are reinforcing the same thoughts and behaviours for every woman I know. I plan to change that!

“5 Effective Ways To Help You Live A More Positive Life”
I chose this title because I felt like it would be a good introduction overall into what my blog will be all about and the easiest to start with for a first blog post at this point in time. I was pretty personal with it, and I wrote about the things that have personally helped me start living a more positive life. I even included some helpful tips, reminders, and exercises. I plan on adding some more visual affects by including pictures as well, too. It’s written, but not ready to be viewed by the public eye yet in my opinion lol

This is a great example of a captivating title, Brieahna! Using numbers is a great way of keeping people interested on the post and the rest of the title really represents your whole niche. Well done 🙂

Hello I’m Bob.
Linux is a hobby of mine and I think I am good with it. Title is “Your first Linux install”, don’t know for sure it’s OK but here’s a link for it.

Hi Robert! This is a great first post, clearly introduces to the reader to your project and has a lot of valuable information. As it is such a big portion of text, I would bold the most important things and would create bullet points, just to make it easier to read. Well done 🙂

How to start a business during a pandemic and help others.
My reason for starting this blog it two fold. I have a severe auto immune disease and have not left my house since March 16. I rely heavily on others to get me the things I need to live. I pay them for their help, even though some try to refuse. I also know a people who are out of work and need to provide for their family. I have been a lifelong entrepreneur and want to put my skills and knowledge to work to help those who are willing to work for what they want.

Hello, so I decided on “How to Homeschool Without Stressing”. I decided this because we have known since my oldest has been 3 years old that we were going to homeschool but was clueless to how it all worked. I dived in and dived deep when he turned 3. I learned a lot and when the time started to count last year I was prepared. I want others to be as stress free about homeschooling as I was when the time counted.

My first title is, “Against all Odds, Making your Dream into a Reality!” I chose this title because I think we over utilize our history, familial, cultural, social, financial, environmental, and current events as crutches to not fulfill our dreams and desires. It’s easier to give up rather than try, especially during times like these.

Got Your Personal Lie Detector (ld) On?
I chose this title because I hope it captures the readers’ interest. What if most everyone wore a personal lie detector on their wrist, as part of a watch, and if someone tells a lie, a red light flashes and it makes a blaring sound (anh, anh, anh)? You’re going to be asking people questions to see if they’re lying and to get to the truth. Many questions will have to be specific….like; “on a scale of one to ten, how would you rate….” But you get the idea. I want to write about hypothetical questions asked to newsmakers and questions everyday people would ask of people they interact with. And, I want to make it interactive so my audience can make comments about the content. So, this will be a blog for entertainment purposes; for people to think about who is lying and who is telling the truth.
