    My goals are:

At least one blog every two days – 500 (minimum) words with quality content

Weekly – A reflection on what I’ve learned for a minimum of three to four months until I feel that the reflections are no longer necessary.

Monthly – Review posts to see if any can get revamped for improvement. For an entire month, the focus will be on Search Engine Optimization for blogging or Pinterest.

I’m in a little bit of a funk right now. My blog is intended for users of Pinterest and wouldn’t you know it, Pinterest suspended my account. More than likely it’s because I tried to upload one too many pins in the same day. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get things worked out. But right now with this situation, the fire is starting to go out if that doesn’t get resolved. My love for Pinterest is what made me want to create a blog in the first place. Crossing my fingers and hope that a live body responds to me so I have someone that will actually be able to take care of the situation instead of waiting with baited breath (if you know what I mean). I miss the days when there was a live body behind the phones.

This 12th blog concentrated on Boosting your SEO and I wasn’t paying too much attention to the pins which need more work on my part. Please use this blog to help boost your SEO posts with the Yoast plug-in. It saves so much time to ensure your fully using SEO.

I already have my bio on my about me page. This is additional information that I’m going to add to the blog. I just need to reword it a little bit more before it’s actually published.

I am a District Deputy (32) in the State of Washington for the Knights of Columbus.
I have a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership Degree from Gonzaga, University
    (in Spokane, WA).

Armed with a heavy arsenal of computer skills (Certified in Word, Power Point, Access, and Excel) and A+ certification I’m using my skills where I’ve been a Webmaster with other programs (Front Page and Dreamweaver). Utilizing improved technology such as WordPress and a passion for Pinterest I’m looking forward to helping other people aspiring to make their own blog.

My mission is to provide you with a wealth of knowledge that you’ll have a one-stop place for any questions related to WordPress and Pinterest. Keep pinning.

My Facebook Group – Pinterest Artwork is growing by leaps and bounds. I now have a total of 3 (including me) in my Facebook Group. https://www.facebook.com/pg/Pinterest-Artwork-105034837954125/posts/ . Moving forward, I’m hoping to see at least one person from the 30 DBC in my group in the near future. My blog is about helping people that want to make a blog (that aren’t familiar with WordPress) and are Pinterest users.

Hi Luis, Monica has a good point about the length of your title. You should consider using the plug-in called Yoast SEO. After I started using it I learned that the title should be less than 10 words or less. It’ll give you better SEO for blogging. Scott

Hi Praharsha, looks like you’ve been working on this blog for quite a while. I envy you. You’ve got a great head start. I just finished the 30 DBC and I’m just now learning how to add color to my fonts. You’re going to like this course. You get out of it what you put into it. Enjoy. Scott Let me know if you need any help with anything. http://www.PinterestArtwork@PinterestArtwork.com

Hi Pam and other fellow bloggers to be. It looks like there’s a common thread that people aren’t knowing what they should be blogging about. That’s the hardest step in creating a blog (i.e. – to discover your niche). What are you passion about and what interests you the most. I hope this advice helps you all steer in the right direction. .

I hate it when you’re right in the middle of transitioning from one theme to another. I’ve already changed my themes 9 times in three weeks. I have finally decided to stick with the one that I have (http://www.pinterestartwork.com).

Hi Magda, your setup appears to be a static page. Make a page and simply call it blogs. Then be sure to have your blogs updated to that page. Let me know if you need help finding it. That way your blogs can be accessible from the menu on top too. Scott

Nice posts – but where’s the pictures of cats? Click on the + sign, select image, and upload a picture of some cats. Scott If you don’t have any pictures yourself, go to http://www.canva.com, sign up for a free account, and I’m sure they have free stock images of cats that you can use. Later. Scott

I really like the layout of your theme (Akismet). I think I might have tried it, it looks very familiar. I need to check that one out. Would you mind sharing with me the code for the links at the bottom (Share this – Pinterest Facebook E-mail etc). Thanks.

The perfectionist tendencies are hard to let go. Initially, I was just churning out blogs to get them out there. But now I’ve switched to having quality blogs and if I don’t get one out of every day, I wait to the next day and so on. Quality over quantity. Welcome to the club.
